20 (or so) Books of Summer 2016

I loved doing the 20 Books of Summer challenge at 746 Books last year ... so much so that I ended up reading 30 books! This year it's running from June 1st - September 5th which is just shy of 14 weeks. I can typically knock out two or three books each week which would put me right around (or over) 30 again this summer. These are, of course, subject to change and change again and again.

Go sign up for yourself HERE!

Thirty books read over the course of these three months last summer is impressive. And it looks as if you've planned well for this summer!

Strangely enough, I have never read any of the Xanth books even though I loved Anthony's Apprentice Adept series.

Love the idea of all the Christmas books! The only one of your list I've read is The Wicked Boy and it's great - hope you enjoy it...and all the rest! :D

Of course then I go and revise my list. I'll still try and get to The Wicked Boy but I'm not going to break my head trying to squeeze NetGalley whims in ;)

I'm doing the opposite this year - trying to get through some of the zillion or so NetGalley reads to clear the decks a bit... that's the theory, anyway!

I went a little crazy one boring night at work requesting stuff that I probably wouldn't normally want to read just to fill up my summer. Of course, I have a thousand or so books waiting to be read (seriously) so it's unlikely that I'll ever need to go scrounging for something new!

OK, I'll take the blame for your list revision angst. ;-)

In Australia we sometimes celebrate (in a very casual ad-hoc kind of way) Christmas in July so that we can enjoy a traditional English Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and not worry about a hot kitchen. So your Christmas books are perfect for this time of year :-)

I usually aim at 30+ books for my summer list, too, so I shouldn't have too much trouble with this challenge. Good luck. Here is my list:
