#BookBeginnings & #Friday56 - A Sense of Entitlement by Anna Loan-Wilsey

Already on the third Hattie Davish book! I adore Hattie. She's spunky, smart, loves cake, and counts in French to calm herself down. (I've tried it -- it works!)

Of course, it's Friday again so it's time for Friday56 at Freda's Voice & Book Beginnings at Rose City Reader!

So, the Book Beginnings rules are to share the first few sentences & initial thoughts while the Friday56 is to share a blurb from the 56th page or 56% mark.

Oh, Hattie ... what in the world have you gotten yourself wrapped up in now???

Interesting beginning and 56. I hope you are enjoying the book. My BB and 56 this week come from The Master Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg. Happy reading!

I'm marveling how her umbrella hasn't turned inside-out. Tee-hee. Hope you are enjoying your book.

Hi Karen,

First of all I would like to thank you for stopping by Fiction Books today. I love meeting new people, so your comments will always be welcome and your comments always appreciated.

If you enjoy this series as much as you seem to, you will be pleased to know that the 4th book in the Hattie Davish series, is due out this month, so you won't have to wait too long for 'A Deceptive Homecoming' to hit the shelves!

This is not an author or series I have come across before, however from your first lines I would definitely keep reading, as I really need to know why this person would be up on deck in such awful weather, if it wasn't for a very good reason!

I shall add 'A Lack Of Temperance', the first book in the series, to my list and see how I go from there.

Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend,

Yvonne

Thanks for stopping by & for the great comment! I already have the 4th book through NetGalley. I requested it before realizing that it's #4 so went and found the first three because I freak out a bit over reading things out of order :)

Sounds like an interesting series. I like female lead characters with spunk!
Happy weekend!
