Oooh, I remember reading Alice Hoffman! This sounds fantastic! ^_^
It's her first "middle-grade" book and it's so amazingly wonderful! My only complaint is that I'll finish it soon!
A 100 year curse? Wow, I'm intrigued, it sounds like a great premise too :)
